2/4/2012 Took Mike, Danny and Mike's Grandpa
Richard for a cool windy, and productive day.
Started at 10 am with a stiff north wind at
18mph, checked several areas with very little
success, catching a few White Bass. Then we
moved to Bull Branch and found the large
Hybrids' willing to bite. Boated 6 keepers and a
few undersized and some White Bass. Ended the
trip at 3 pm with around 40 fish caught today
and the 6 Hybrids they keep.

2/1/2012
The calendar says it is February 1st, but you
would never believe it out there on the lake
today, 82 degrees and very little wind. I took a
couple of friends out to do some Bass fishing,
they would not cooperate for us so at 1 pm we
decided to go catch some fish for their fish fry
on Super Bowl Sunday. Let's say the big girls
were biting very good, the three on the left
were all 22 3/4 inches long and weighed around 8
pounds, the others were all solid 19"+ inch
Hybrids'

1/24/2012
Paul and his son Keston had a great time
catching one after another and double and
triples all morning long. Most of the fish were
16" to 17" Hybrids with a few keepers mixed in
and also some White Bass. They boated over 100
fish on this trip, below is Keston with a couple
of nice Hybrid's they caught.

1/21/2012
James and Ken limited out on keeper size Hybrid
Striped Bass. We started the day at 10:30
because a front had blew thru in the morning,
the wind was slowing down and was around 10 mph,
the temperature was warming up and the sun
started to break thru the clouds. They
immediately started catching under sized Hybrids
and a few small White Bass. By noon they had 3
keepers and then we moved up the lake and found
the big Hybrids biting. They filled out their
limit by 2 pm and then caught and released a few
more keepers. It was a great time for both of
them, catching over 50 fish in four hours.

1/15/2012
John and Fred had a great day catching 50 plus
undersized Hybrid and White Bass. This windy day
ended with 3 keeper Hybrids and 10 or so large
White Bass. Sorry forgot to get photos.
1/14/2012

Alex enjoyed a very cool morning catching over

the day after the clouds burned off and the sun
warmed us up.

Chris enjoyed the day catching numerous
undersized Hybrid Bass and many White Bass. Here
is the lone keeper Hybrid he did catch.

great day catching over 150 fish, most were 14
to 16 inch Hybrids but did have a few Keepers.

fish biting, what more could you ask for.

more on artificial lures. It was a great morning
for all.

Today I had the opportunity to provide my
services on Lake Austin in conjunction with a
fund raiser for the new Scott and White
Children's Hospital. One lucky child from the
Hospital (Dustin) got selected to spend a few
hours bass fishing with Colt McCoy, Cleveland
Browns Quarterback and previous University of
Texas standout Quarterback. Dustin had a great
time not only catching the biggest bass, but
also the first and the most. Dustin is a very
